Shelly Lewis a Broadcaster of more than thirty plus years and presently the President of the Bahamas Press Cares Media Group, where she continues to write and produce several news magazines including the Anglican Voice, the Englerston Review, the Southern Tides and When A Family Prays. She has also Produce documentaries and information for Radio and Televisions including the most recent PSAs for the Ministry of National Security “We Are One” Campaign, Faces of the Islands, Behind the Prison Walls and the 50th anniversary of Christ the King Anglican Church. Over the years Shelly has worked as a court and crime Reporter with the Broadcasting Corporation of the Bahamas where she covered many of the country’s high-profile cases. Her work experience also includes working with the Caribbean Broadcasting News Network in Barbados, a Contributor to CNN, ABC, NBC, and the BBC in London, providing reports and information on news articles of international interests. Shelly now serves as News Director for Global 99.5FM and host of the Talk Global Impact. Shelly is also involved with and heads numerous organizations including: The Ministry of National Security National Neighborhood Watch Council (NNWC), Chairman of the Ridgeland Park Neighborhood association, The Englerston Community association, Committee Member of Christ the King Anglican Church Hope Day relief organization, Member of the Woman and Girls Mentorship Coalition program, and Chairman of “Girls United, Boys Ignited”.
